All tours are conducted in a private car or 4×4, with hotel pickup on the day of the tour. From Marrakech we head towards Ait
Benhaddou (UNESCO-listed) via the Atlas Mountains and overnight in the Berber village of Agdz. The next day we drive through Tamagroute to reach the village of M’hamid, the gateway to Erg Chigaga Dunes.
The ride to Erg Chigaga is a trilling 2hr off-road drive in 4×4. Afterwords, we spend one or two nights in the desert before heading back to Marrakech via Lake Iriki, exiting the desert at Foum Zguid.

From Marrakech we head towards Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO-listed) via the Atlas Mountains. We pass Ourzazate and head towards Dades Gorges via the Valley of the Roses. We overnight in the area. The next morning, after exploring Todra Gorge, we continue our journey to Merzouga Desert, where we will spend one or two nights. Then, we head back to Marrakech via Rissani, Nkob and Agdz, concluding our unforgettable adventure.

From Marrakech we head towards Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO-listed) via the Atlas Mountains. We pass Ourzazate and head towards Dades Gorges and overnight in the area. The next morning, after exploring Todra Gorge, we continue our journey to Merzouga Desert, where we will spend one or two nights. After breakfast we will leave to Rissani, known for its traditional market. We will then cross the beautiful Ziz Valley with its palm groves and continue to Midelt. We will reach Ifrane known as the “little Switzerland” with its cedar forests and alpine style. we will arrive in Fes late afternoon.

For those arriving in Merzouga with their own car, we can organize 1 – 2 or more nights in Merzouga Desert Camp. You can also choose a combination of Desert Camp accomodation and Merzouga hotel with pool, with stunning views over the sand dunes.
One of our 4×4 will come and meet you in Merzouga. Dromedary ride to our camp or otherwise transfer to the camp in 4×4. Dinner at desert camp with nomadic music.
The next day: sunrise in the dunes followed by breakfast at desert camp.
Options for desert activities: explore the desert with 3-4 hours 4×4 ride. Take a guided quad-biking tour (1 hour or longer) and climb up the highest dunes of Merzouga. Visit Nomadic families and sit down for a traditional tea with them. Visit Khamlia village, renowned for its captivating Gnawa music a spiritual tradition characterized by hand drums, call-and-response chanting, and African rhythms.
